The system is working correctly with this configuration. One of the devices that you
removed is probably defective.
1. Set the power button on the CPU Enclosure to Off.
2. Unplug both PDB outlet power cords from both power supply power cords.
3. Install a device.
4. Plug both PDB outlet power cords into both power supply power cords.
5. Set the power button on the CPU Enclosure to On.
6. If the Maintenance Menu is displayed, select
System Boot
, Boot From List.
7. If the system stops with a

displayed, and the Main Menu is displayed, Select
Exit
Main Menu and Start System (Boot)
and press Enter. When the “Starting
System Boot” menu displays, press Enter. Repeat this procedure each time these
conditions occur.
8. Wait for one of the following conditions to occur:
•
The system stops with a flashing or solid

displayed in the operator panel display.
•
The system stops with

displayed in the operator panel display.
Is

displayed in the operator panel display
?
NO
The last device inserted is defective.
Exchange the defective device or cable.
Go to “Map 0410: Repair Checkout” in the
Diagnostic Information For Micro
Channel Bus Systems.
YES
Repeat Step 18 until all of the devices are installed.
