Installing the rear door heat exchanger
Learn about the procedures used to install the rear door heat exchanger.
You can perform these tasks or contact a service provider to perform the tasks for you. You might be
charged a fee by the service provider for this service.
Note: Because of the size and weight of the heat exchanger, three trained people are required to move or
install the heat exchanger.
Locate and install the four handles onto the rear door heat exchanger before you lift it.

There are some planning tasks that you should perform before you install the rear door heat exchanger.

• Read the safety information. This information will help you work safely.
• Because of the size and weight of the heat exchanger, three trained persons are required to install or
remove the heat exchanger.
• Observe good housekeeping in the area where you are working. Place removed packing materials, tools,
and other parts in a safe place.
