Is the automatic voltage regulator (AVR) configured
properly for this system? See page 134.



If yes, continue with the next step.



If no, examine all settings on the AVR to make
sure they are correct.

Is the automatic voltage regulator (AVR) faulty?



If yes, replace the AVR. See page 133.



If no, have an Hypertherm Freedom 38 PPA
repair facility examine the generator/alternator.



If the problem is isolated to the 120 V
auxiliary outlet the transformer may be
faulty.
