6 – Air Compression Components

Press the OFF (
O
) button on the system controller to turn OFF the system. Make sure the power switch on the front
panel is in the OFF (
O
) position.

Check for leaks and check the oil level. See
Check the oil level in the air compressor

Replace the top cover, side panels, and rear panel on the system. See
Replace the compressor cooling fan
Some early units may not have weld nuts on the fan plenum. These require disassembly of the fan and cooling unit
assembly to replace the fan.
Remove the compressor cooling fan
1.
Turn OFF the system. Make sure the power switch on the front panel is in the OFF (
O
) position.
2.
Wait for 30 seconds, then disconnect the battery’s negative (-) ground cable.
3.
Remove the top cover, side panels, and rear panel from the system. See
4.
Unplug the 2 wiring harness connectors from the fan connector.
5.
Remove the 4 screws that secure the fan to the bracket.
