5.1 Product description
·
For input and output functions the FCU is equipped with a keyboard, a Liquid Crystal
Display (LCD), a dot matrix printer, control relay outputs and a serial data interface
·
For connection to the hydraulic system the FCU is equipped with a Minimess
connection (System 1620) as the inlet, and a DN 7 quick release coupling as the
return line outlet.
·
There is a flow control valve for adjusting the measurement flow rate, which is
protected from contamination by a hydraulic filter.
5.2 Performance description
·
The FluidControl Unit FCU can monitor solid particle contamination in mineral oils on a
continuous basis.
·
Using the FCU, it is possible to record, store and display the cleanliness class to NAS
1638 or ISO 4406:1987 (FCU 8110) / ISO 4406:1999 (FCU 8210) or actual particle
quantities fully automatically during continuous operation.
·
The measured values can be printed out online via the built-in printer in table or graph
format or transferred via the serial interface to a PC or to a central display unit and
displayed there.
·
Filtration units can be controlled directly via relay outputs.
·
The FCU has re-chargeable batteries for independent operation of up to 3 hours.
