9.4 To insert new paper roll in the printer
a) Switch off FCU.
b) Carry out instructions a) to c) from point 9.3 "To insert new ribbon cartridge in the FCU
printer"
c) Lift out old paper roll, remove plastic spindle and place it inside new paper roll.
d) Place new paper roll in the printer so that when viewed from the left hand side paper
unrolls anti-clockwise (it must be possible to unroll the paper from the back).
e) Feed paper edge under the first metal plate in the feed roller and push until it is gripped
between the feed roller and the second metal plate.
f) Press and hold green

while switching on the FCU and wait until approximately
3 cm of printer paper feeds through.
g) Carry out instructions d) to f) from point 9.3 "To insert a new ribbon cartridge in the FCU
printer".
