PROCEDURE IN AN EMERGENCY
In an emergency, please disconnect the FCU immediately from the
electricity supply and from the hydraulic system (inlet)! Dispose of any
spilled fluid according to current environmental guidelines.
Structural modifications to the FCU
No modifications, additions or conversions must be made to the FCU without the consent
of the manufacturer.
All additional and conversion work must have written confirmation from HYDAC
Filtertechnik GmbH.
All components which are not in perfect condition must be replaced immediately!
Original spare parts only must be used. For parts obtained elsewhere, we cannot
guarantee that they are designed and manufactured to a specification appropriate for the
load and for safety considerations.
Cleaning the FCU and disposal of used fluids
Please use filtered benzene preferably, to clean the FCU.
The solvents and flushing oils used must be handled and disposed of properly.
The manufacturers' instructions relating to these must be observed as regards possible
use, personal protective equipment and appropriate disposal.
