Vertical Mounting for S8 Gauges
For vertical installation of the S8 gauge, use mounting brackets to attach
the dual housing assemblies to the inner surface of the press brake’s side
walls. Each gauge uses two brackets, one attached to each end. To ensure
the best performance and reliability, align these brackets parallel to the top
of the press bed. Before drilling the mounting holes, position the gauge at
a height so the gauge bar can be vertically adjusted to fit different die
heights.
Follow these instructions to vertically mount S8 gauges:
1. Scribe a horizontal line on both side frames using the top of
the press bed as a basic reference point. Using a plumb and
level, extend this line the full length of the side frame.
