Inserting an SPC into an SPU

Step 6

Check the running status of the new SPC.

Check the running status of the new SPC in the following ways:

l

Check the STATUS indicator on the panel of the SPC. If it is on (green), the SPC is
working normally.

l

Check the alarms. If the system does not generate any alarm related to the new SPC, the
SPC is working normally.

l

Run the

display device

command on the console interface to view the running status of

SPUs. If the SPUs in the corresponding slots are working normally, the following is
displayed:
