After the page setup has been configured, save it for future use. You only need to configure
the page setup the first time you use the template to print the labels.
Requirements on Feeding Labels into the Printer
The label paper is different from standard paper and is composed of two pages. No matter
which model of printer you are using, feed in the labels by hand one after the other. Never use
the auto-feed mode.
Different printer models may have different feeding modes. Make sure to feed in the labels
correctly.
Requirements for Printed Labels
Make sure that the printed labels satisfy the following requirements:
l
All printing is done on the label side and not the reverse side.
l
Cell contents are aligned in the center. In a single-line printout, the dividing lines and the
"TO:" mark are not obscured by the printed text.
l
When the cells are merged and printing is done on multiple lines, avoid obscuring the
"To:" mark. When aligning the text, use the space bar to move the text to the next line.
A.5.1.4 Writing Labels
Writing Tools
To ensure that the labels are clear, when filling out the labels by hand, use black oiliness
markers instead of ballpoint pens.
In special cases, black ballpoint pens are allowed, but they are not recommended. When
writing with a ballpoint pen, do not leave any wet ink on the label because it may smudge.
NOTE
The included marker has two nibs. Use the smaller nib to write labels.
Font
To ensure clarity when writing by hand, try to emulate the Times New Roman typeface
(uppercase) as accurately as possible.
