Device Clearance Requirements

The USG9560 chassis is 14 U high and requires front and back maintenance mode. The
device must meet the following clearance requirements:

l

Airflow

–

A minimum of 750 mm between the device and the equipment room wall and
between two neighboring devices

–

A minimum of 2 U between devices installed in the same cabinet, between the top-
most device and the cabinet top, and between the bottom-most device and the
cabinet bottom

l

Maintenance
A minimum of 700 mm between devices and between devices and walls

NOTE

The length of three holes on the mounting rails is 1 U, which is equivalent to 44.45 mm.

2.3.2 Installing the Chassis into the Cabinet

You can mount the USG9560 in a 19-inch standard cabinet using guide rails.
