Note: The other connections are not used.

Switching the Appliance On and
Off

Use the Power button on the front of the server to switch the appliance off and on.
HP recommends that you do not do this while backup or restore is running. Never
remove the power cord before the appliance has been shut down (unless the
appliance has hung and cannot be shut down by any other means).

Emergency Reset

Use the Emergency Reset feature if you cannot access the AutoBackup Web-based
administration interface because:

You set the wrong network password when you installed the AutoBackup
appliance
There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network
You have forgotten your administrator name or password
You want to change the IP address. However, it is much easier to change the
IP address (and name) from

View/Configure Network Settings.
