Reinstall the client software on the protected computer, using the existing
account details.
Perform a rollback with "all data" selected. This will restore the protected
computer to its last saved state.
Backing Up Client Data
The appliance is offline or unreachable.
If the appliance is offline or unreachable, the appliance is unable to back up or
restore files. Any scheduled operations are canceled. Check the the protected
computer is connected to the network by trying to access other machines on the
network. The appliance may have changed its IP address and could not tell the
protected computer. This link gives full

Otherwise, the administrator should be contacted, and the appliance should be
checked for its status.
The client was not connected to the
network during the scheduled backup
time window.
This has been noted in the event log. The backup itself has been canceled, and has
not been rescheduled. There are two ways which backup can be manually triggered:
Right Click on the file/folder to be backed up, and select Backup to HP
AutoBackup.
Double click on the Backup icon, and click on the Backup now button.
The client informs the user that a backup
has not occurred for n days.
For some reason, the client has not been backed up. Examine the event logs to see if
there is a issue preventing any scheduled backups.
The backup failed as the client account
has been deleted from the appliance.
If this was an error, contact the administrator and get the machine account recreated
on the appliance. If the backup appliance is no longer required to protect this
