Boot Code Upgrade Instructions

Read This First
Use this procedure if the serial number of your ADSL/R router is below 5774747.
The serial number is located on the bottom of the router. If the serial number is
5774747 or above, you do not need to execute the boot code upgrade.
This procedure requires Microsoft Windows.
Installation Procedure
1. Verify that your router is powered on and connected to your PC.
2. Load the upgrade CD into the CD-ROM drive of your PC.
3. The upgrade should start automatically. If it does start automatically, skip
to Step 4. If it does not start automatically:
•
In Windows, click on the Start icon, then select Run. The Run
window appears.

Click on Browse. The Browse window appears.
•
Select bootupgr and click on Open.
•
In the Run window, click on OK to start the upgrade process.
