The press interface

Control panel

The press interface is compatible with MS Windows NT conventions.

The control panel’s menu bar lists all the options necessary for an easy workflow. Toolbar
buttons are available for all menu options. You can choose any toolbar button to create a
customized toolbar. To access the sub-menus, click a toolbar button, access the menu
option, or click the schematic on the relevant subsystem.

User level

Different levels of users have different access to the press software. By default, you have
access to all functions that are intended for performance by an operator. No password is
necessary.

Windows and sub-windows

The press helps you to perform complex procedures correctly. When you start a complex
procedure, only the window that relates to the first steps of the procedure is accessible.
As you progress, additional windows become available.

Wizards

Wizards reduce the usual input process by providing interactive, step-by-step instructions
for complex routines.
