Maintenance safety and emergency procedures 31
All interlocked doors have visual indications when they are open. The door and interlock
warning indicators appear in the control panel and in the schematic window, which shows
all open doors.
Maintenance safety and emergency procedures
Standby status
Put the press in Standby when the system is not required to print or when the system is
unattended. The unit automatically goes into Standby after it remains idle for more than
20 minutes.
Inching button
Use the
Inching
button in maintenance procedures that require inching the drums. If any
interlocked doors are open, the machine returns to the off state. The
Inching
button
(located at the side of the door) is enabled when the paper feed door or the paper exit
door is opened. Opening both the feed and exit doors disables inching. During inching,
the machine is in Standby.
