The
Waveform
Measurement
Process
Measurements
of
eye
diagrams
use
a
color
graded
database
.
T
op

base
values
are
determined
from
the
peak
regions
of
the
color
graded
database
.
If
the

algorithm
cannot
locate
these
peak
regions

Once
the

Locating
crossing
points
When
eye
diagrams
are
measured,
the
crossing
points
are
determined.
Data
within
the
top
and
base
levels
are
used
to
construct
histograms
from
which
approximate
crossing
points
can
be
determined.
An
iterative
process
is
used
to
precisely
locate
the
crossing
point.
