Disassembly and Storage

Remove the Woulff bottle
WARNING/

Glass breakage! / Bris de glace !
Serious injuries from shattering and breaking glass./

➜ Check glass devices for damages (stars, breaks, etc.)./
Contrôler que les appareils en verre ne soient pas endom-magés
(étoiles, bulles, etc.).
➜ Only use perfect glass devices and replace all damaged
glassware as soon as possible./
Utiliser uniquement des appareils en verre en parfait état.
➜ Work carefully./
Travailler attentivement.
➜ Remove the heating bath in reverse sequence of the assembly.
Disconnecting the coolant / vacuum
1. Verify that the coolant and vacuum supply is switched off and that the system is at
atmospheric pressure.
2. Disconnect the tubes from the condenser and drain coolant safely into a storage
container.

➜ Do not touch the interior and the upper edge of the heating
bath, the evaporator fl ask and the heating bath liquid./
Ne pas toucher l’intérieur et le bord supérieur du bain
chauf-fant, le ballon d’évaporation et le liquide du bain
chauffant.
➜ Wear suitable heat protection gloves when changing the evapo-
rator fl ask./
Pour changer le ballon d’évaporation, porter des gants calori-
fuges appropriés.
➜ Remove the heating bath in reverse sequence of the assembly.
Storage
Evaporator
➜ The unit may be stored in a dry location.
➜ Store the unit in the original packaging (only possible with the transportation
protection device attached).
➜ Close the packaging with adhesive tape.
Glassware set
➜ The glassware set may be stored in a dry location.
➜ Empty and clean the glassware set.
➜ Store the glassware set in the original packaging.
➜ Close the packaging with adhesive tape.
