3.
Calculate the offset using this formula:
Offset (in GPM) = D - [Slope x B]
Using the example values:
Offset = 37 - [1.254 x 25] = 5.65384615
4.
You can verify the calculations by substituting the cal-
culated slope and offset into these formulas:
C = [A x Slope] + Offset
D = [B x Slope] + Offset
Using the example values:
C = [155 x 1.254] + 5.653846 = 200 (for high flow rate)
D = [25 x 1.254] + 5.653846 = 37 (for low flow rate)
5.
Enter the calculated slope and offset values using the
respective menu screens:
A.
With the
submenu screen dis-
played and the “SET SLOPE” line selected, press
ENTER key
to display a screen like
. Use
arrow keys
to adjust the dis-
played slope value to match the calculated slope
from step 2, and press
ENTER key
to enter the
value.
B.
After the “SET SENSOR” submenu screen re-
appears, use
Ø
Ø
key
to select the “SET OFFSET”
line, and press
ENTER key
to display a screen like
. Use
arrow keys
to adjust the dis-
played offset value to match the calculated offset
from step 3, and press
ENTER key
to enter the
value.
This completes non-GLI sensor data entry/calibration.
