If broadcasting corrections in RTCM 3 format, the following default messages should be
included: $JRTCM3,INCLUDE,1004,1005,1008,1012.
•
A base station Broadcast ID ranging from 0 to 4095 (except for CMR format 0 to 31) can also be
assigned to the receiver. This ID will be shown in the DSID (Differential Station ID) field of the
GGA sentence on the rover. To enter a broadcast ID of 333 for example, send the command:
$JRTK,28,333.
•
Set the baud rate of the port(s) that will be used for transmission using the $JBAUD command
(note that Bluetooth port (PORTA) baud rate needs not be changed). It is preferable to set the
baud rate to at least 9,600 or higher.
•
Turn off all messages on the output ports to be used and activate only one type of differential
correction (RTCM, ROX or CMR) per port. For example, to output RTCM on the serial port
(PortB) issue the following commands: $JOFF,PORTB followed by $JASC,RTCM3,1,PORTB.
•
Note that if using Automatic referencing mode, there will be no output until the 300 second
averaging is completed. To check the transmission status of the iSXBlue/SXBlue II along with
the “time to go” before transmitting RTK, use the $JRTK,6 command.

SXBlue Config Base Menu
The above configuration can be done in the “Base” menu of SXBlue Config. Click on “Initialize” after a
manual input of the reference coordinate. If “Fixed Location” is checked and an average is required, click
on “Re-Average”, wait for the 300-second count to be completed, then click on “Initialize”. The
“Memory Location – Reference” will show the coordinates being used. The communication ports setup
can be done in the Bluetooth, Serial and USB menus.
