The
10Hz and
20Hz update rate output is not an application, but should rather be considered as an
“activated” or “unlocked” feature within the applications (1Hz is default on all iSXBlue/SXBlue II
models). RTK Base and Rover subscriptions are optional on the iSXBlue/SXBlue II series. Chapter 5
describes the $JAPP command used to change between the two iSXBlue/SXBlue II applications. Chapter
5 also describes the $JDIFF and $JDIFFX commands used to setup the differential modes.
1.
The default
MFA
application is factory-installed on Application 1 memory slot. This application
offers the following features:
•
Uses SBAS (iSXBlue/SXBlue II) as a default differential correction source
•
Automatically detects the source and type of RTCM corrections on any of the
communication ports and overrides SBAS default (if RTCM 2 and up) or L-Band default
(if RTCM 3)
•
Relays (and translates to RTCM format) the differential correction received from SBAS,
L-Band or RTK (RTCM, or proprietary formats) signals to any communication port (if
$JMODE,BASE is set to NO; see chapter 5). This feature can be used to feed another
nearby receiver for special applications
•
Outputs RTCM corrections (and/or other proprietary formats) when used in base station
mode
2.
The
Auto-Dif
application is pre-installed in the Application 2 memory of the iSXBlue/SXBlue II
but is not activated and requires a subscription. The Auto-Dif application offers the following
features:
•
Autonomous differential (submeter) correction mode (with “calibration”)
•
Standard Base Station mode for RTCM 2.0 differential correction output
The Auto-Dif activation can be purchased at any time from Geneq inc. or through an authorized reseller.
The necessary firmware update with installation tool and the subscription code will be provided.
The 20Hz Output Rate
option can also be activated and do not require any installation.

Activating an Application or Option
These instructions explain how to activate an application code on an iSXBlue/SXBlue II receiver.
1. Requirements
• You must establish a communication between the iSXBlue/SXBlue II and your computer, and
use a generic terminal program such as HyperTerminal or TeraTerm
• The application in which to subscribe must be loaded onto the iSXBlue/SXBlue II receiver.
See the installation guide received with the purchased application.
• The application subscription code must be purchased from Geneq or an authorized
representative
2. To activate the application on the iSXBlue/SXBlue II:
a) Using a terminal software
