5.4 UNCOUPLING THE MACHINE FROM THE
TRACTOR
ATTENTION
Only to be performed on level and compacted ground.
1. Stop the tractor motor.
2. Operate the parking brake and get off the tractor.
3.
Enter the wedges under the machine’s wheels.
4. Operate the suitable handwheel (1) to lower the
mechanical foot to the ground, lifting the eye from the
tractor's hook by about 2 cm (Pic. 62).
5. Disconnect
:
• Pay the utmost attention to any residual energy which
may remain in the pipes or pressurised apparatuses
or parts loaded by springs or similar.
• The PTO shaft from the tractor's grooved shaft and
replace it in the rest position on the suitable support.
• Quick oil couplings (if present).
•
The computer’s power supply and connection plugs
(or of the water’s push button panel).
ATTENTION
Unskilfulness in coupling or uncoupling the machine-
tractor and subsequent engagement of the mechani-
cal foot may create stability issues to the machine.
To safely park the machine, refer also to the warnings
contained in chapter 4.8 “PARKING THE MACHINE”.
5.5 DEVICES AGAINST UNAUTHORISED
USE
Devices against unauthorised use can consist of:
• Chain with padlock (2)
• Collar with padlock (3)
At the end of the work, wrap the chain inside the hole of
the drawbar eye or place the collar inside the hole of the
drawbar eye, in both cases close the padlock with the key.
5.5.1 DEVICES AGAINST UNAUTHORISED USE
WITH STEERING DRAWBAR
If machine is equipped with a steering drawbar, at the end
of the work, steer the drawbar completely and wrap the
chain between the drawbar and the machine frame (4).
