Start by accessing the configuration
You can change the PIN1 and PIN2 via the PC configuration or by configuration using the
telephone. The following settings are protected by the device's PIN1. In the factory setting,
PIN1 is set to
. After accessing the configuration, you can set the performance fea-
tures using the keys described. The telephone used for programming cannot be reached
during configuration of the system. Once configuration has been completed successfully,
you hear the positive acknowledge tone and can configure the next performance feature. If
you wait longer than 40 seconds between entries, the device terminates configuration and
you hear the engaged tone. All the entries you have made up to then, indicated by a posit-
ive acknowledge tone, are saved when you replace the receiver. The data is stored about
15 seconds after you replace the receiver. During this time, the power supply to the device
must not be interrupted.
The following procedure must be carried out once at the start of configuration
Lift the receiver of your telephone. You will hear the internal dial
tone.

Confirm your input with the # key.
You hear the positive acknowledge tone.
You can now dial the keys.
Note
You can now enter all the keys for the required performance features one after the oth-
er. After entering a key, wait until you hear the positive acknowledge tone. Then enter
the next key.
If you want to end configuration, replace the receiver.
