Caution: This function is only possible for system telephones, analogue telephones
and ISDN telephones on the ISDN or analogue connection.
You must request this performance feature. The company will provide you with further in-
formation on the procedure. If you dial the key during a call or after the caller has ended a
call (you hear the engaged tone from the exchange), the caller's telephone number is
stored in the exchange.
You are making a call or the caller replaces the receiver and you
want to have the caller's telephone number stored in the exchange.
Do NOT replace the receiver.

to switch on. The telephone number is stored in the ex-
change.
Once the telephone number is determined in the exchange, you hear
the positive acknowledge tone for about 1 second.
Replace the receiver.
Block dialling (Austria)
You can use block dialling (preparatory dialling) to first enter a complete telephone number
on the terminal and to store it in the device for dialling purposes. You can then initiate dial-
ling of the complete telephone number. For some network operators, block dialling is man-
datory for enabling direct dial-in to a specific terminal. For ISDN terminals, this performance
feature is described in the ISDN terminal user's guide. Block dialling is also possible for in-
ternal numbers.
Lift the receiver of your telephone. You will hear the internal dial
tone.

Dial the required extension.
To start dialling, press the # key. The dialled number is only then
sent to the exchange. You hear the ringing tone. The external sub-
scriber is called. The called subscriber lifts the receiver.
