3.5.4.2 Forwarding calls
Forwarding calls internally without notification
You can forward calls if you dial the telephone number of the internal subscriber and re-
place the receiver. This person is called and receives the call on lifting the receiver.
You are making an external call.
Press the R button. You will hear the internal dial tone.
Dial the internal subscriber.
You hear the ringing tone. The person is called.
If you hear the engaged tone, press the R button again to return to
the received call.
Replace the receiver. The person is called. The person whose num-
ber you dialled lifts the receiver and takes the external call. If the per-
son whose number you dialled does not lift the receiver, the call re-
turns to your telephone after about 30 seconds.
Forwarding calls with notification
You want to forward and internal or external call to another internal subscriber, but you
want to speak to this person first.
You are making an internal or external call. You want to forward the
call to another subscriber.
Press the R button. You hear the internal dialling tone. If you hear
the engaged tone, press the R button again to return to the call.
Dial the subscriber.
You hear the ringing tone. The person is called.
Have your conversation. Notify the internal subscriber that you are
forwarding a call from another subscriber.
Replace the receiver. The person whose number you dialled contin-
ues the call.
Connecting two subscribers
During a call, you can take another call or make another call. The first subscriber is put on
