Setpoint Configuration
with
Outdoor Reset
The Setpoint Configuration screen displayed is based on the option selected.
Below is the Setpoint Configuration screen without outdoor reset.
FIGURE 24 – SETPOINT CONFIGURATION WITH OUTDOOR RESET
Setpoint Mode:
»
ModSync®:
The ModSync® Setpoint mode will use the outdoor reset
configuration on the next screen.
»
Manual:
When in Manual mode the ModSync® will operate based
on the user selected input.
Outdoor Temp Disable:
If the Outdoor Air Temperature exceeds the
Outdoor Temp Disable value, the ModSync® will disable the boilers and
not allow them to run. The boiler status will change to Outdoor Temp
Disable to show that the boiler has been disabled due to high outdoor air
temperature.
Outdoor Temp Deviation:
Outdoor Temp Deviation is how many degrees
the outdoor air temperature needs to drop before the ModSync® will
re-enable the boilers out of Outdoor Temp Disable. For example, if the
outdoor temp disable is set for 100°F and the outdoor temp deviation is
set for 5°F then the boilers will shut down on outdoor temp disable when
the outdoor temperature reaches 100°F and will not re-enable until the
outdoor temperature drops to 95°F.
