System and Scaling – Configuration Screen
The System and Scaling Screen 3 provides access to optional features available to
the ModSync® SE.

Outdoor Reset:
Enables the outdoor air temperature sensor and allows
access to the outdoor reset screens and settings.
Warming Features:
Enables the ‘Running Transition’ and ‘Warm Standby’
Features
Return Sensor:
Enables the Return Sensor Monitoring.
Isolation Valves:
Enables Isolation Valve control for the boilers. If isolation
valves are enabled then boiler pumps are automatically disabled.
Boiler Pumps:
Enables the Boiler Circulation Pump control for the
boilers. If Boiler Circulation Pumps are enabled then isolation valves are
automatically disabled. When enabled, an additional selection to enable
VFD function will become available.
Valve/Pump Interlock:
Enables the Valve/Pump interlock function. When
the ModSync® enables the boilers Isolation valve or Boiler Circulation
Pump, the ModSync® will wait for a status input from the valve or pump to
indicate that the valve is open or the pump is running before enabling the
boiler. An adjustable time delay will be added so that if the status is not
made in the selected timeframe the boiler will be placed in alarm and a
different boiler will be enabled.
System Pumps:
Enables the System Pump operation. If enabled,
additional configuration options for VFD capabilities, number of pumps
(2-4) and control function (Delta-P or Delta-T) will become available.
