If a motor drives to the limit point, an alarm message appears on the monitor
with eight beeps, and returns to the home position.

the V-groove.
-The fiber is detached from the
V-groove.
-The primary coating of the
fiber is not completely
removed.
Clean the V-groove according to
8.1.1.
Place the fiber again into the V-
groove.
Cleave the fiber again and repeat
the entire procedure.

-The fiber is not set properly
before automatic splicing.
The FOCUS motor and the FIELD
motor will recover to there proper
position automatically as soon as
the “OVER RUN” error occurs.
Place the fiber again on the V-
groove.

-The fiber is cleaved too short
in length.
-The fiber is detached from the
V-groove.
Cleave the fiber to its proper

Place the fiber again into the V-
groove.

The splicer automatically returns
to the "READY".

Clean the mirrors and objective
lens. Make sure the fiber is clean.
*1 : The cleave length must be 10mm-16mm for 0.22 and 0.25mm coated fiber,
and 16mm only for 0.4mm and 0.9mm coated fiber.
