During an RBC/Plasma procedure, there are two options for 
lowering the plasma volume: 

•

 

Lower the plasma volume within the nomogram, or 

•

 

Quick Complete 

 

Either option allows the operator to shorten the procedure 
time by reducing the volume of plasma originally targeted for 
collection and still collect one unit of red cells.  The choice to 
select either a jumbo or a split plasma product is still available 
after the collection is completed.
