After touching the
check button
to confirm the products have been
weighed, the
unload kit prompt
is displayed on the procedure
information screen.

To remove the kit, perform the following steps:
1.
Open the cassette compartment door and centrifuge door.
2.
Remove the separation chamber completely from the
centrifuge compartment.
3.
Remove the cassette from the cassette compartment.
4.
Remove the lines from the air detectors and close the cassette
compartment door.
Remove the rest of kit from the instrument. Properly dispose of
the kit according to standard operating procedures. Touch the
check button
to verify the kit has been removed from the instrument.
When the operator confirms that the kit is unloaded, the
instrument checks that the kit has been removed. If not, the user is
prompted to remove the kit again. If the operator has confirmed
the kit has been removed, the operator is given access to the
procedure view
button
and
new procedure button.
Note:
Record the procedure data before touching the
new procedure
button
. The
procedure view button
provides summary tabs for
additional information regarding the donor, procedure results, kit
and accessory items that may have been used, and any alarms that
occurred during the procedure. For more information refer to
Chapter 3, Procedure Summary Tabs.
