GENERAL INFORMATION
Master the product:
if you know the product and
understand how it works, you will get the best
results. As you read the manual, refer to the
attached illustrations. Recognize the location and
function of each command. To prevent accidents,
follow the operating instructions and safety rules.
Keep this manual as it may be useful in the future.
3. WARNING - Fuel is highly flammable.
a. Reserve fuel in jerry cans provided for this
purpose.
b. Fill with fuel only in open air and do not
smoke.
c. Add fuel before starting your riding mower.
Never remove the tank cover or even add
fuel when the engine is running or hot.
d. If a fuel leak occurs, do not attempt to start
the machine and move it away from the leak
area involved: wait until the fuel vapours
have dissipated before operating the mower.
e. Reposition correctly the tank and jerrycan
caps correctly.
4. Replace defective noise absorbers.
5. Before use, make sure that the blades, blade
bolts and blade positioning are not worn or
damaged. Replace worn or damaged blades
and bolts at the same time to maintain
balance.
6. For multi-blade mowers, be careful when
rotating one blade as it can cause others to
rotate.
Use
1. Do not use the engine in a confined space
where dangerous carbon monoxide vapours
may accumulate.
2. Mow only during the day or under strong
artificial lighting.
3. Before starting the riding mower, disengage all
blade control levers and shift to neutral.
4. Do not mow on a slope of more than 10
degrees.
5. Keep in mind that any slope can be dangerous.
Pay extra attention while moving. To prevent
any fall:
a. do not stop or start suddenly when you are
on an upward or downward slope;
b. engage the clutch slowly, ensuring that the
mower gears are always engaged,
especially when moving downhill;
c. speed should be reduced on slopes and
sharp bends;
d. pay attention to bumps, hollows and other
hidden hazards;
e. never mow diagonally to the slope unless
the mower is designed for this purpose.
6. Be careful when pulling equipment or other
heavy equipment.
a. Use only approved drawbars.
b. Limit loads to those that can be controlled
without any risk.
c. Do not make sharp turns. Turn with caution.
d. Use counterweights or wheel weights as
suggested in the user manual.
7. Beware of traffic when crossing the road or
when you are close to a road.
8. Stop blade rotation before crossing an area
not covered with lawn.
9. When using attachments, never direct the
discharge of material towards people in the
vicinity and never allow anyone to approach the
mower while it is running.
10. Never operate the mower with defective
protective elements or without any safety
devices.
11. Do not change the engine governor settings or
heat the engine. Using the mower at excessive
speed may increase the risk of injury.
12. Before leaving the unit:
a. disengage the power supply and lower the
accessory unit;
b. stay in neutral position and use the parking
brake;
c. turn the engine off and remove the key.
13. Disengage the belt from the accessory block,
stop the engine, and disconnect the cable(s) from
the spark plug or remove the ignition key;
a. prior to unlocking and cleaning the machine
from any obstructions;
b. prior to inspecting, cleaning, or working on
the mower;
c. after touching an object. Inspect the mower
and make any repairs needed before
restarting the machine;
d. if the machine starts to vibrate abnormally
(check immediately).
14. Disengage the belt from the accessory block
during transport or not in use.
15. Turn off the engine and disengage the belt
from the accessory block
a. before refuelling;
b. prior to removing the grass catcher;
c. prior to adjusting the height, unless this
adjustment can be made seated.
16. Reduce the accelerator setting to neutral and,
if the mower is equipped with a shut-off valve,
turn off the fuel supply after mowing.
17. Before and when you step back, look
behind
and underneath to make sure there are no young
children around.
18. Pay greater attention when approaching blind
corners, bushes, trees or other objects that can
obstruct visibility.
Maintenance and storage
1. For multi-blade mowers, be careful when
rotating one blade as it can cause others to
rotate.
2. When the mower has to be parked, stored or
left for a short or long time, lower the mowing
devices unless a mechanical lock is installed.
3. Make sure that the nuts, bolts and screws are
tightened securely so that the mower is in proper
operating condition.
4. Never keep the mower with fuel in the tank
inside a building where fumes can reach an open
flame or spark.
5. Let the mower to cool before storing it in an
enclosure.
6. To limit the risk of fire, ensure that the engine,
noise damper, battery compartment and fuel
reserve area are free of excessive grass, leaves
or grease.
7. Check the grass catcher frequently for wear or
damage.
8. Replace worn or defective parts.
9. If the tank has to be emptied, this should be
done outside.
10. Performing regular maintenance of the unit is
essential. A lack of maintenance and servicing
can deteriorate the quality of the unit and reduce
its service life.

WARNING: This mower may eject

that this machine could amputate
your hands and feet. If you do not

Preliminary advice
1. Read the instructions very carefully. Familiarize
yourself with the controls and proper use of the
equipment.
2. Never allow children or people unfamiliar with
the product operate the mower. Government
regulations may establish a minimum age.
3. Never mow when people, especially children, or
animals are nearby.
4. Keep in mind that the operator or user is liable
for risks or accidents to other persons or their
property.
5. Do not take passengers.
6. All drivers should receive theoretical and
practical advice. These tips are:
a. the need to be careful and attentive when
mowing on a riding mower
b. the brakes do not allow the mower to regain
control of the mower on sloping land. The
loss of control can be explained as follows:
• insufficient wheel grip;
• driving too fast;
• inadequate braking
• the type of machine not suitable for the
task;
• lack of attention for the consequences of
mowing in sloping land, in particular;
• poor hanging or uneven distribution of the
grass within the bag.
Preparation
1. When mowing, always wear shoes offering full
protection and pants. Never mow barefoot or
with open sandals.
2. Inspect the area to be mowed and remove any
objects that the machine may eject in its path.
