During normal operation, the blade rotation control does not require any
adjustments. However, if the cutting performance decreases or the quality
of the cut is low, make the following changes:
1. When mowing, make sure the accelerator control is in FAST position.
2. Place the blade rotation control in the CLUTCH LEVER position
(Figure 17).
3. Stop the engine. Unplug.
See the relevant Instructions. If replacing the belt does not solve
the problem, take the unit to an Authorized Service Centre.
6. Gently move the blade rotation control to the CLUTCH LEVER
position . Stop the engine. Unplug.
7. Check the functioning of the blade brake . Turn the pulley
manually. Make sure that the brake pad is firmly adjusted to the
pulley (Figure 18).
CAUTION: If the brake pad is not firmly adjusted to
the pulley, take the unit to an Authorized Service
Centre.
8. Move the blade rotation control to the CLUTCH LEVER
position .
9. Check the blade brake pad . If the brake pad is seriously worn or
damaged, replace the brake pad assembly . Appropriate spare
parts and support are available in an Authorized Service Centre.
10. Plug in. Mow a short distance and re-examine the operation of
the blade rotation control .
11. When moving the blade rotation control to the CLUTCH
LEVER position , all motion stops within five seconds. If the belt
goes on moving or the blades go on rotating, engage and
disengage the blade rotation control five times to remove
excess rubber from a new mower belt . If you need help, take the
unit to an Authorized Service Centre.
