MAINTENANCE
REPLACING THE MOWER'S DRIVE BELT
REMOVAL
1. Remove the frame from the mower. See the relevant Instructions.
2. Fully press the pedal and apply the handbrake.
3. Remove the guide pulley (Figure 30).
4. Release the guide arms located close to the drive pulley .
5. Remove the drive belt from the drive pulley .
6. Remove the drive belt from fitted pulley . Appropriate spare parts
and support are available in an Authorized Service Centre.
INSTALLATION
1. Slide the drive belt between the fitted pulley and guide arms
(Figure 30). Install the drive belt on top of the fitted pulley .
Make sure that the V-edge of the belt is positioned against the pulley.
2. Install the end of the drive belt around the drive pulley .
3. Make sure that the drive belt is inside the guide arms close to the
drive pulley . Adjust the guide arms .
4. Place the belt around the pulley guide . Assemble the pulley guide .
Adjust the pulley guide using the hex nut. Make sure that the V-
edge of the belt is positioned against the guide pulley . Also, make
sure that the belt is not twisted.
5. Check the routing of the drive belt . Make sure that the drive belt is
properly fixed on the pulley guide . Make sure that the drive belt is
inside the guide arms .
6. Before using the unit, check the clutch adjustment. See the relevant
Instructions.
7. Install the mower frame. See the relevant Instructions.
