MAINTENANCE
REPLACE THE FUSE
If the fuse is damaged, the engine does not start. The fuse is placed
close to the battery. Remove the fuse and replace it with an
automotive fuse (Figure 34).

CLEAN THE MOWER FRAME
1. Place the blade rotation control in CLUTCH position.
2. Clean the top of the mower frame.
3. Place the blade rotation control in CLUTCH LEVER position.
4. Clean the top of the mower frame again.
5. After mowing, clean the bottom of the mower frame.
CAUTION: Before cleaning the mower frame, stop the
engine and disconnect it.
Grass and other debris can prevent the belt from operating normally.
For proper and safe handling, clean the top of the mower frame
frequently. Remove grass and other debris around the pulleys and
other moving parts.

STORAGE FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS FUEL SYSTEM
At the end of each year, prepare the unit to be stored as follows. CAUTION: Never empty fuel close to a building or fire. Do not
smoke with fuel in the vicinity, as fuel vapours may cause an
explosion.
ENGINE
See the manufacturer's instructions on this subject.
BATTERY
1. Remove the battery.
2. Clean the battery terminals to remove any deposits.
3. Charge the battery. See the relevant Instructions.
4. Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
NOTE: after a long period of storage, charge the battery.
1. Start the engine.
2. Run the engine and carburettor until the fuel runs out and the engine
stops.
3. Be sure to use fresh fuel after the storage period.
CLEAN THE UNIT
1. Remove dirt and grass.
2. Clean the mower frame.
LUBRICATE THE UNIT
See the relevant Instructions.
The machine should be cleaned and maintained before storage.
