Remove, check, sharpen and balance the
blades.

Lubricate the mower frame.

Check the silencer:
a. Torque
b. Wear-and-burn
c. Spark arrester condition (if any)

Before storing for 30 days
or more
Prepare the engine for storage.
Refer to the Owner's Manual Engine Section.
Empty the fuel system.
Refer to the warnings in the Owner's Manual.
Add fuel stabilizer.
Refer to the Owner's Manual Engine Section.
Prepare the battery for storage:
a. Disconnect from the unit.
b. Charge.
c. Store in a cool, dry place.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
NOTE: torque is measured in meters. This measurement indicates
whether nuts and bolts should be firmly screwed in. The torque is
measured with a torque wrench.
SILENCER CHECK
Check the silencer every 50 hours. Make sure it is properly assembled
and is not released. If the silencer is worn or burnt, replace it with a
new one. A damaged silencer is a source of fire and can also damage
the engine.
If you are assembling a spark arrester to the silencer, check both
components at the same time. If the spark arrester is damaged or
worn, replace it with a new one. Go to the closest Authorized Service
Centre to do so.
1. It is the owner's responsibility to maintain this product to extend its life
and maintain insurance coverage.
2. Check the plug, brake, lubricate the unit and clean the air filter once a
year.
3. Check the fasteners. Make sure they are firmly adjusted.
4. Follow the instructions (Maintenance to keep the unit in good
operational order.
CAUTION: Before performing any check, adjustment or
repairing the unit, please disconnect it from the power
supply to prevent accidental start-up.
MAINTENANCE
BLADE CHECK
9. Tighten the nut holding the blade to a torque of 47.5 N-m.
10. Install the mower frame. See the instructions for
"Installing the mower frame".
CAUTION: before checking or removing the blade,
please disconnect it. If the blade hits an object, stop the
engine. Check that the unit is not damaged.
The blade has sharp edges. When carrying the blade, use gloves
or a cloth to protect your hands.
