MAINTENANCE
REMOVE THE FRAME FROM THE MOWER
1. Place the blade rotation control in CLUTCH LEVER
position.
2. Place the traction lever in LEVEL ADJUSTMENT position.
NOTE: Make sure the traction lever is locked in the LEVEL
ADJUSTMENT position.
3. Remove the pins and gaskets from the rear suspension arms
(Figure 29). See illustrations C and D.
4. Remove the pins and gaskets from the suspension
joints . See illustrations A and B.
5. Remove the spring extension of the blade control rod . See
illustration E.
6. Remove the front suspension handlebars from the frame. See
illustration F.
7. Remove the mower drive belt from fitted pulley . See illustration G.
8. Pull the right side of the unit out of the mower frame to remove it.
9. To operate without the mower frame, place the traction lever in
OVERHEAD position.
INSTALLATION OF THE MOWER FRAME
1. Push the mower frame under the right side of the unit.
2. Place the mower drive belt around the fitted pulley. Make sure that
the V-edge of the belt is positioned against the pulley . Also, make
sure that the belt is not twisted.
3. Attach the front hanger to the frame with the hanger rod . Adjust the
fasteners as follows. See illustration F.
4. Make sure that the mower's drive belt is positioned between the
fitted pulley and the two guide arms. See illustration G.
5. Attach the suspension joints to the traction assembly .
Adjust with joints and pins See illustrations A and B.
6. Attach the rear suspension arms to the suspension hooks. Adjust
with joints and pins. See illustrations C and D.
7. Attach the spring extension to the blade control rod . See
illustration E.
8. Place the blade rotation control in CLUTCH position. Make sure
that the mower's drive belt is positioned in the guide arms and
under the spacer .
9. Ensure that the mower frame is levelled. See the relevant
Instructions.
10. Check the operation of the blade rotation control . See the relevant
Instructions.
