OPERATION
10. Move both the packer panel lever and carrier panel
lever inward and let go. Check for the following:
a. Engaging the carrier panel lever will activate
an engine speed up switch, you should hear
the engine speed up.
b. Observe the carrier and packer panel move-
ment, it should be smooth. The panels should
stop automatically at the “interrupted cycle”
position.
11. Move both the packer panel lever and carrier panel
lever outward and let go. Observe the carrier and packer
panel movement, it should be smooth. The panels should
stop automatically at the “home” position.
12. Depress the two driver signal push buttons located
on both sides of the tailgate to make sure that the au-
dible alarm located in the cab is working.
13. Back the unit up a few feet to ensure that the back-
up alarm is working properly.
14. Loosen the tailgate clamps and swing out. Raise the
tailgate approximately 6” and check to see if the tailgate
ajar light on the dash is on and if the backup alarm is
audible. (Do not have the unit in reverse.)
