Installer Mode 1 (Installer Keypad Programming)
Selecting this option enters the installer into keypad programming mode. Refer to Keypad
Programming in Section 7: System Programming.
An option exists in the EZ-Mate downloader software to inhibit keypad programming. If selected,
any attempt to enter this mode will prompt a negative acknowledgment of four short beeps. The
software has another option (Default Lockout) to inhibit a second installer from defaulting the panel
and entering keypad programming. The feature prevents unauthorized installers from accessing
the control.
Installer Mode 1 (System Default)
Any of the system keypads (LED and LCD) can initiate a system default by pressing the 1
and 3 keys at the same time while in the Programming mode. The system will default to
the factory-programmed values, perform the reset sequence, and perform the warm-up time
sequence. A system default can be generated by removing power (AC and DC), shorting JP1
and JP2, reapplying power (with JP1 and JP2 still intact), waiting eight seconds, and
removing the short while still applying power.
A programming option, called Default Lockout, can be selected through the EZ-Mate downloader
software. If selected, a system default reset will change all of the programmable options, with the
exception of the CSID (a code used by the software to identify the panel during remote
connections) and the Installer Code. This prevents unauthorized installers from accessing the
control.
Installer Mode 1 (User Code Default)
The User Codes can be reset to factory default values (User Code 1 = 1234) by pressing the 7
and 9 keys at the same time, while in the Programming mode. The User Codes will be
reset to the factory default codes; the system will perform the reset sequence and the warm-
up time sequence.
Installer Mode 2 (System Log View)
The system retains the past two alarm memory conditions. The system can store from 1-6
alarms per arming cycle, or up to 12 alarms for two arming cycles. LED keypads will display
