7.4 Tool Offset table
This table stores the dimensions of each tool.
The values of this table can also be modified from the PLC and from the part-program by means
of the high level variables associated with the tools.
The end of the chapter describes how to edit the table. Each offset has a number of fields containing
the tool dimensions. These fields are:
Tool length along the X and Z axes (in radius).
Tool radius.
Tool length wear (I) along the X axis.
It is given in diameters. The CNC will add this value to the nominal length along the X axis in order
to calculate its real length (X+I).
Tool length wear (K) along the Z axis.
The CNC will add this value to the nominal length along the Z axis in order to calculate its real length
(Z+K).
