This function allows you to divide a recording into several segments with equal time-length;
and then play back the segments simultaneously.
For example, for a 60-minute recording, if you select 4 split-screen, the recording will be
divided into 4 segments with 15-minute in length each. If you select 6 split-screen, the
recording will be divided into 6 segments with 10-minute in length each.

Click the
Sub-periods
button on the top to enter the Sub-Periods Playback page.

Click the
Calendar
button to select a date.

Click the
Time
column to select a time range.
4.
Select a split number from the Split-screens drop-down list.

Select a
Search Type

Select a channel for Sub-periods playback by checking the checkbox of the channel.

Click the
Play
button on the Playback Control Panel to start playing back. Please refer to
3.5.2.1 Playback Control Panel
for more details about Playback Control Panel.

You can also single-click on each segment on the playback layout to start playing back
from the selected segment. To perform this function, on the playback layout, single-click
on a segment, the clicked segment will be highlighted with a blue frame. At the same
time, you can see the recording of the segment displayed on the time bar (upper one).
