INSTALLATION

WARNING

The SIM card PIN must be DISABLED. If

the SIM card PIN is enabled, it must be

disabled using a cell phone.

Installing the antenna

Europa GSM is provided with an antenna extension (1.5 m) and its relative
fixing bracket.

Fix the bracket to the wall in an area with sufficient GSM field.

Connect the female connector of the antenna extension to the male
connector located on Europa GSM.

Fix the other end of the extension to the bracket.

Connect the antenna to the male connector of the extension.

WARNING

NEVER power Europa GSM before having

installed the antenna, in order to prevent any

damages.

Startup

Reposition the lateral part of the lid.

Connect Europa GSM to the power supply.

Make sure that the LEDs visible from outside the cabinet and the LED
relative to the SIM card are flashing correctly (see page 16).

This way, Europa GSM is operative and ready to be programmed and used.
