2.87 PERSONAL GROUP

 

 

 

Description

 

 

A Personal Group is composed with a master station and several member stations. 

The member stations receive an incoming ring for the master station basically. 

And the member stations share the representative master station number for their making a call 
basically. And some of features are synchronized by setting it ON for a personal group. 

 

Except the basic features, there is special usage of personal group. The usage is linked-pair 
utilization. You create a personal group with linked-pair enabled. 

 
 

Operation

 

 

Basic operations are : 

 

By setting 

‘Linked Pair Usage = OFF (Incoming Call Only)’ in PGM 261, 

 

- 

Share display of the master extension number for making a call 

 

- 

Receiving a call as call-coverage stations 

 

- 

Sharing of DND/ Call-Forward/ Wake-Up data of the master extension according to 
ON/OFF setting of the attributes in PGM 261 

 

- 

Each of master and member extensions are not link-paired and they are free for call- 
state each other. They can be activated individually and call-state is not synchronized. 

 

- 

Representative master number is busy if all of extensions are busy. 

 

 

An additional operation for linked-pair : 

 

By setting 

‘Linked Pair Usage = ON (All Call)’ in PGM 261,

Including basic features 

 

- 

All of master and member extensions are link-paired and they are synchronized for 
their call- state all together. Only one of them can be activated and the others are 
deactivated. 

 

- 

Representative master number is busy if one of extensions is busy. 

 

- 

In linked-pair usage, if one extension activates its state by a physical event except 
PGM button then others go to deactivated state and will hear error tone and get 'linked 
pair in-use' display when they try to make a physical event. 

 
 

Conditions

‘linked-pair usage’ using ‘personal group’ is different from the original 2-pair linked 

method. The original 2-pair linked stations are linked as hard-wired and they use 
the same extension structure and database.

’ using ‘personal group’ is not a hard-wired but multiple extensions 

including SIP extensions share one number and synchronization of call-state. Each
