10.4.2.20 set igmp number-groups
Use this command to set the number of multicast groups supported by the Matrix device—to either
4096 or 16,384. In order to set the number of groups to 16,384, each DFE blade in the chassis must
have 256 megabytes of memory installed. Once a chassis has been set to support 16,384 multicast
groups, a DFE blade without 256 megabytes of memory cannot be installed into that chassis.
After executing this command, the chassis must be reset in order for the new number of groups
supported to take effect.

Example
This example shows how to set the number of multicast groups supported to 16,384. In order for
this command to succeed, every DFE blade in the chassis must have 256 megabytes of memory
installed. The chassis must be reset in order for this new number to take effect.
