DEVICE MANAGEMENT METHODS
The Matrix Series device can be managed using the following methods:
•
Locally using a VT type terminal connected to the console port.
•
Remotely using a VT type terminal connected through a modem.
•
Remotely using an SNMP management station.
•
In-band through a Telnet connection.
•
In-band using Enterasys Networks’ NetSight
®
management application.
•
Remotely using WebView™, Enterasys Networks’ embedded web server application.
The
Matrix Series Installation Guide
provides setup instructions for connecting a terminal or
modem to the Matrix Series device.
