Configuring General Values of the ANG-3000/7000
To configure general parameters on the ANG-3000/7000, you must use an
Internet browser on your remote control computer and connect via a hub or
the provided crossover cable to the Network Gateway. You run Enterasys’s
Aurorean Web Config application to configure the system. Figure 28
illustrates the process.

This section describes how to use AWC to configure the general parameters of
the ANG. The process is organized by the following categories:

Installing the Indus River Certificate.
!
Accessing Aurorean Web Config from your PC.
!
Configuring values such as your VPN, Domain and Host Names,
trusted/external IP addresses and subnets, and local or remote ANG.
NOTE
We strongly recommend that you follow the configuration sequence as
described in the following pages. Designed for ease of use and straight-
forward utility, the Aurorean Web Config application builds the ANG
configuration in a systematic manner which complements its usability.
