Connecting Ethernet Cables to an ANG-3000/7000

Plug the orange, straight-through Ethernet cable supplied with the
ANG into the EXTERNAL port as shown in Figure 20.

Plug the opposite end of this cable into a wall jack, patch panel, or
hub linked to an unprotected network segment (outside a firewall).
To determine the status of these links, check the LEDs on the front panel as
described in Chapter 3.
