Installing a Hazardous Location
Model (ER5050)
WARNING
Install conduit rated for your Hazardous Location
using local and national electrical codes which
apply to the application.
Conduit must be sealed within 18" of conduit’s
point of entry into the ER5050.
Make sure everything is properly assembled
before powering.
DO NOT open cover when an explosive
atmosphere is present.
The cable and conduit entry devices shall be
certified flame proof types, suitable for the
conditions of use and correctly installed.
Unused conduit entry must be closed with
suitable blanking element.
