1.

Verify that the replacement tube fitting is identical to the item removed. Special fittings
are etched with code markings.

2.

Apply pipe thread sealant (Loctite #567) to the mating threads of the tube fitting. Do
not apply sealant to the first turn of the external pipe threads.

3.

Install and tighten the tube fitting in the mating port of sensor or electronics housing.
