Configure a database for transient operation
The CSI 2600 system may be used to simultaneously monitor machinery under normal
operating conditions and to create a large archive of information for those signals
designated (while building the database) as transient. All sensor connections to the CSI
2600 are configured for predictive operation. Some (or all) of these are also designated as
transient and are configured for transient operation.
Procedure
1.
Create collection predicate for transient auto-archive operation.
When you create an auto-archive definition, this collection predicate will cause the
CSI 2600 to automatically transfer an archive of transient measurements to the
online server, where they can be viewed by an analyst. Archives stored on the
transient hard drive will eventually be written over by new measurements.
2.
Configure the Measurement Points to associate tach channels with vibration
channels.
