K. Decals - Cleaning
CAUTION:
DO NOT USE ORGANIC SOLVENTS (METHYL-KETONE,
ALCOHOL, CHLORINATED SOLVENTS, FLUORINATED
SOLVENTS, ETC.). THE MATERIAL IS NOT RESISTANT TO
ORGANIC SOLVENTS.
(1) Rub the decal with a soft clean cloth soaked in neutral detergent (Refer to
the manufacturer's instructions).
(2) Remove all detergent with a soft cloth soaked in clean water.
(3) Rub the surface dry with a soft clean cloth.
L. Wooden Surfaces - Cleaning
NOTE:
These steps are not applicable to the areas that had light
scratches removed. These areas must be re-sanded with Scotch-
brite (white) sponge.
(1) Carefully wipe the panel with a shop wipe to make sure that there is no
debris on the surface that can scratch the finish.
(2) Mix the cleaning solution, which must have 90 parts of warm clean water
and 10 parts of mild liquid soap.
NOTE:
You can use Windex to clean the surface as an alternative.
(3) Lightly soak a shop wipe in soap solution and clean the surface in a circu-
lar soft motion.
NOTE:
Turn the cloth frequently to prevent the dirt from redeposit.
M. Formica Surfaces - Cleaning
(1) Lightly rub the surface with a wiper cloth soaked in neutral detergent to
fully clean the surface.
(2) Use a wiper cloth soaked in clean water to fully remove the neutral deter-
gent.
(3) Rub the surface dry with a wiper cloth.
(4) If necessary, clean the surface with a wiper cloth moist with water and
neutral detergent.
(5) Rub the surface with a wiper cloth soaked in neutral detergent to make
sure that it is fully clean.
(6) Fully remove all neutral detergent with a cloth soaked in clean water.
(7) Rub the surface dry with a wiper cloth.
N. Decorative Platings - Cleaning
(1) This procedure is applicable to decorative platings of a distinct variety of
materials. These include gold, nickel, copper, brass, chrome, smoke
nickel, rose gold, silver and platinum.
